Terms & Conditions

Effective as of January 2026

 

Welcome to Basketball Factory in Calgary. By registering for, attending, or participating in any Basketball Factory program, training session, league, or event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Registration & Payment

  • All participants must complete registration and submit full payment prior to participation.

  • Spots are limited and are only secured upon receipt of full payment.

  • Basketball Factory can set up payment arrangements, if necessary, to help parents pay for player's registration.

  • Basketball Factory reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration at its discretion.

 

2. No Refund Policy

  • ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  • This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Schedule conflicts

    • Illness or injury

    • Withdrawal from the program

    • Missed sessions

    • Weather-related changes

  • In rare cases, Basketball Factory may offer a credit at its sole discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

 

3. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Participants are expected to arrive on time and be prepared for all sessions.

  • Missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Basketball Factory has the discretion to move players on to different teams if the organization feels like players have missed too many practices, games, training and film sessions, without excuse, or if the organization feels like their is a better fit on another team for that specific player. This can be a suggestion or a request by the Basketball Factory organization.

 

4. Code of Conduct

  • Players must demonstrate respect toward coaches, staff, officials, and other participants at all times.

  • Unsportsmanlike behaviour, including foul language, aggression, or disruption, may result in removal without refund.

  • Players and parents must sign a 'Code of Conduct' form in order to participate in the Basketball Factory organization.

 

5. Health & Safety

  • Participants must be physically fit to participate in basketball activities.

  • Any injuries, medical conditions, or concerns must be disclosed prior to participation.

  • Basketball Factory is not responsible for injuries sustained during participation.

 

6. Waiver of Liability

  • By participating, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with basketball activities.

  • You agree to release Basketball Factory, its staff, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage.

 

7. Schedule Changes

  • Basketball Factory reserves the right to:

    • Modify schedules

    • Change locations within Calgary

    • Cancel or combine sessions if necessary

  • Participants will be notified of any changes when possible.

 

8. Media Release

  • By participating, you grant permission for Basketball Factory to use photos and videos taken during sessions for promotional purposes.

 

9. Personal Belongings

  • Basketball Factory is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

 

10. Program Cancellations

  • If Basketball Factory cancels a program before it begins, a credit or alternative option may be offered at its discretion. This does not include player movement from different teams, league or practice cancellations. Credits are only given in the case of a team folding or a program being cancelled for various reasons.

 

11. Agreement

By registering, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

  • You agree to abide by all rules and policies outlined above
